Overview

The WIA Adult Program is designed to help workers define their paths to success be it through employment seeking assistance, training, or identifying supportive services for workers such as childcare and transportation.

You may be a "dislocated worker" if you have been laid off, received a notice of termination or layoff, or were self-employed and are no unemployed due to economic conditions or natural disaster.

The WIA Youth Program participants gain valuable work experience, have access to career exploration opportunities, and gain resources for further academic development such as completing high school or obtaining a GED/HSED, advanced training, and enrollment into post secondary education. They also learn about the resources that the community and the Workforce development Centers have to offer.
